12th Annual Halton Eco Festival - A Free-to attend, One-Day Environmental Fair for Sustainable Living and Biodiversity on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 10 am to 5 pm @ the Glen Abbey Community Centre, 1415 Third Line, just south of Upper Middle Road in Oakville For more info - http://www.oakvillepeacecentre.org/haltonecofest/ Features @ The Halton Eco Fest - - Free admission, free parking. - Free draw for $500 worth of bedding accessories from Dormio Organic Beds. - 60 Booths. - Live animals demonstration from Exotic Critter Tales at noon and at 3 pm. Reptiles (snakes, coatimundi, alligator), sugar glider, marmoset, lemur, cavy and a young kangaroo! - Fun, interactive kids eco fun zone: It’s a Kid’s Planet! - Free blue boxes distributed by sponsor Halton Region (Public Works). - 20% off all gifts donated to the Silent Auction. - Eco cafe with pizza, somosas, pakoras, baked goods, coffee, tea, juice and organic pop. - Free educational presentations on the emerald ash borer (11 am), eco friendly gardening (1 pm), and biodiversity (2 pm).
