I'm somewhat shallow and would prefer that people around me act accordingly. If not I'd move to Cambodia and slum it. Certain places are for certain people, you think Trump wants me living next to him? No. :)

You do... you must have been used to an upper-middle class neighbourhood, then you bought the cheapest house in town expecting the same? By the way, let's say your 4000sq ft cha ching$$ house sold 1.2 Million Dollars, $1.1 left after fees, commission, moving expenses (being generous here). Divide by six families that were living in the house and that is still only $183K you are left with, assuming the house was even paid off in full.

So in summary you are in fact very poor and I wouldn't be bragging about 'owning a dryer' :roll:

She's a single mother with 3 children (2 in college and a 4 year old...all probably from different fathers given the huge age gap between the first 2 and the youngest) and according to her, she wants to retire in her 40's which would probably make her in her 30's at the moment which means she started having kids as a teenager. Do you really believe that she owned a 4000 sq ft home in Mississauga?

I think my comment has been misunderstood, or I miswrote it.

Ghetto = cheap I assume.

Complaining about ghetto behavior in one of Milton's cheapest areas is ironic. Does saying that make me a bad person? I'm sorry if it does.

Maybe we have different definitions of the word ghetto.

Start hanging your clothes to dry on your porch and you could retire when you're 40.

First of all I"m 42. Second of all I'm white, so it was only one family living in the house. We don't roll like that. Third of all all my kids are from the same marriage, because my husband was sick we decided to have another baby, so I wouldn't be alone, because my older ones are away in college. I count my blessings everyday for the the little one that I had! Fourth of all, no it was not insurance money, we had no insurance, he became sick very fast. We just worked hard, saved our pennies and bought the house in Erin Mills in 1990, when it was farmland.

Don't worry about my financial being. I'm well off, thank you!

Help!

Devalue a house in Milton? :roll:

Somehow I doubt it.

Besides, we own a very nice dryer thank you, and still hang our laundry outside.

Sylvia P., you are revealing way too much personal information about yourself on the internet. I suggest you stop doing this.

Oh and congratulations on being white!

Thank you! People just make me sick when they judge other people, they don't even know where they came from in life! Stop the nonsense.
