What would the annual user fee be for the fetishists who use this facility? Are we even talking 500 local taxpayers here? How's another $2400/A sound guys?

Kidding aside, are these membership and user fees high enough to make this pencil out? If they've got $5 to $10K sunk into bikes they should be able to shell out more. How much supplementary volleyball are we playing here in Milton?

Who knew? Cycling event of the century in our backyard this weekend. http://www.mattamynationalcyclingcentre.ca/en/index.asp
World freaking cup! Shhhh, don’t tell anyone. It’s apparently a secret.

The service fee on tickets is 33% for adults and >50% for kids. I’m starting to see management problems.
Then I found this: The Town of Milton has issued Requests for Proposals on two separate occasions attempting to attract a concessions operator for the facility. Unfortunately, we have been unable to find an operator due to a lack of interest. Staff continue to review the marketplace for opportunities and alternatives.
Crazy!

Bumping this thread. I heard the Velodrome has a little-used weight room. Can any members comment on whether it well-stocked with enough equipment relative to the Goodlife in town such as heavy dumbbells, Olympic bars and at least 1 squat rack? My research shows the yearly membership is cheaper, and you'd get access to the swimming pool at another community center as well.

Thx!

Great bump, and thank you. I have been considering this also.

It is tiny. Good addition if you are doing something else. I can't comment on GL, ain't rich enough, comparing 4L, where I'm, it is nothing. But could I only guess what exturtions apparatus you are asking for.

I go to this gym and honestly it's great when it's not busy (which would be late morning-mid afternoon).

They only have 2 benches that aren't attached to a rack so it can be busy very easily.
However a lot of the individuals that go here seem to be mindful which helps.

I haven't seen any weighted belts. If you are looking to do box jumps, you are out of luck.
They do have 1 squat rack, I saw an Olympic bar once but it has disappeared for a while now...... and they do have heavy dumbbells.

Overall, good gym, small, and can get busy really easily.

Quick Update, I don't know what it is but the past two weeks have been crazy busy inside that gym, a lot of kids are being trained in there now during the evening.
