Post subject:  Forest Fire has eaten up 31,000 hectors of land

This is now Canada's largest forest fire Timmins9

There are now 9 forest fires 2 are extremely large and out of control.
Here's a few photo's of the Timmins 9 fire
The city of Timmins is surrounded by fires all Hwys going in and out of the city have been closed due to the fires being to close to the roads.

This is Ray Hill I grew up in this area. It is really sad to look at this photo. A lot of my childhood memories were made from playing there

Please remember these photo's next time you want to throw your cig butts out the window in a dry season or when you have a camp fire, be sure you put it out. A lot of these forest fires are caused by these 2 actions, something that can easily be prevented.

Firefighters continue to work to bring a forest fire in the Timmins area, which has now reached 41,210 hectares in size, under control.

“It’s not completely under control yet, from what they’re saying, but they’re making it sound pretty good,” Denise Chiasson said after emergency officials delivered an update on the fires that have ravaged rural areas near the city since last Sunday.
