where did you get the cerificate of completion? was is stuck on the house somewhere during framing? we were considering asking for "proof" for all the energy star items that we couldn't see for ourselves... one thing we did notice is that there was spray foam insulation in every nook and cranny! thanks for heads up! |

keep taking photos and document everything...i suggest everyone do the same. if a builder can cut corners...why not....who is to say they dont....so document and call mattamy...goodluck |

I climb around in Mattamy attics all the time post-closing.. I can say that few of the ones that I have been in have been consistent in their insulation coverage. It's always nice an deep around the entrance, but the further away you get, the more sparse it is... What should be 20+cm is more like 10 around the edges. I would suggest taking actual measurements far away from the entrance. |
