So, came home yesterday to a cold house last night. Check the vents, only cold air blowing out. Check the thermostat, all the settings are correct (heat, fan auto). Tried switching fan to "on", tried restarting the thermostat, no luck there. Go downstairs, check the furnace. As far as I could tell initially, everything looked fine. Turned it off for 5 minutes, turned it back on, then nothing. I noticed the pilot light would come on, the gas would come on and start blowing the heat, but would immediately turn off, wait a few seconds and turn back on.

Searched here on Hawthorne Villager for ideas and recommendations. Found a phone number for Nissan Air (http://www.nissanair.com/, 416-200-1971) but wasn't hopeful that anyone would come, it was about 7pm at this point. Left a message thinking he would get back to me during business hours. Mason called me back last night and ended up coming at around 8:30, he even tried to help me troubleshoot it over the phone. Turns out one of the thermostats wasn't getting enough power and we were getting the error code with 2 flashes.

Mason was able to fix the thermostat and checked to make sure everything was functioning correctly, the outlet exhaust was clear, the blower, the heat sensor, etc. Thanks to him, we slept in warmth.

I definitely recommend him if anyone needs help with their furnace/HVAC. I will call him again if our Goodman furnace decides to act up again.

- Mike
