So,,, it would seem there are a few leaks out there.

This rainy week gives people a good opportunity to check for leaks of all kinds. While a puddle on your basement floor or drips from a ceiling are obvious, many other leaks can be very subtle and often are not found unless you take a good look.

I would suggest people take a good look at garage and second floor ceilings for any staining, bubbles in the paint, or signs of dampness. On the second floor, focus on the ceilings along exterior walls.

Check around the tops and bottom sides of windows especially if the house has siding.

Remember, often these leaks are very subtle and unless you look carfully, they can go unnoticed for a long time.

Also note - that it is these small leaks, that go unnoticed for a long time, that can cause the most damage.
