Just in case everybody on staff clocked out at 4pm, here is the latest report, estimating 27cm for Milton...
Who knows if they will be right, but hey, we have the forecast -- can we maybe.. plan ahead this time just in case?

There's snow coming? Say it ain't so. How is the plow gonna get down my street? A lot of the driveways have cars hanging over the road. And some people park their cars on the street because they can't fit in the driveway.

Easy... Milton needs to hire this guy as he now needs a job, no one will ever park on the road again.

There is no enforcement tonight in milton, from what I have been told (called the after hours number). So good luck with that everyone.

All it takes is one f*** to park his car on the street to f**K up the snowplowing for 3 driveways.

And to top it off the driveway the car should be sitting in is f****** empty.

Richard,

That's the exact situation I have been dealing with as well. Why do these people have driveways if they are going to park ok the street during storms. It's because they have no sense of community.

There isn't enough tow trucks in Canada to tow away all the cars parked on Milton streets ;)

My request to the city officials is that please and I repeat please ask the plow team to have some consideration when plowing and throwing the snow on driveways, I have cleaned twice since this morning and the plow guy has twice thrown half the streets snow on my drive way, I have tried calling the city engineering dept as usual it says leave a message.

I am sure the city officials can understand what it takes to clear "Wet Snow" twice and now I have to do 3rd time.

All it takes for the plow to get the correct angle on the blade.

I'd be happy with that. We have yet to see the plow, and people with snow tires have gotten stuck on our street (4 in the hour I was out shoveling this morning). As such, I'll be doing a 5km walk to an appointment this afternoon, because I can't afford to get stuck while by myself (5'1" person vs car is not very successful).

As my concerns were regarding the main roads last time, I must say I am very pleased with the efforts last night / this morning so far. Thanks Milton, well done - that's certainly growth from the last one!

Cusick Circle (off Savoline Blvd) and Reece Court is not done as yet. During the last BIG ONE on 8th February, 2013, Cusick and Reece Court were ploughed @ 6.30 PM on 9th February 2013

Looks like residents of Cusick Circle and Reece Court are last on the list of the streets to be cleaned

We are near Derry and Trudeau and still haven't been plowed either.
