I was checking out the new rental company Mattamy is using now for Hotwater tanks. Allianze power corp. I was checking out what tankless hot water solution they offer. Still deciding. BUT I see on there website they offer rental air conditioning as well. Does anyone have a positive or negative story renting an AC unit? How much is it? I mean if its like the Hotwater tank, $30 month... Seems like a good deal... If its that price... lol |

When we were looking to get our AC installed I did call Reliance (our hot water tank is with them). They were by far the most expensive. If I remember correctly they wanted $4500 for the AC to buy it or something like $80/month to rent. It was a couple of years ago, so I could be remembering the rental cost wrong as we really didn't have an interest in renting it. We got our unit installed for around $2600 with a humidifier as well. Renting just didn't make sense to us. |

Plus - when you want to sell your home most buyers do not like this option... |

Don't do it! Total cost is generally far greater. Buyouts if you have to sell your house are also big. |
