Hi,
At the daycare our daughter attends, the cost for an 18 month old - 2.5 years is $45 a day and $40 a day for 2.5-5 year olds.

Hope this helps.

I read on here somewhere that if you have 2 kids in daycare. It maybe be cheaper or same price to hire a nanny. I really don't know, but maybe something worth looking into.

Your Daughter has been in The Family Place for the last year. In the Infant room we were paying close to $65 a day and now in the Toddler room its like $56 a day. I would go anywhere else. She loves it!

This is true if you have a live-in nanny. They usually run in the ball park of 1500 a month plus room and board. Live outs are twice as much, if not more.

I have my children registered for MCRC. It's 40 a day for preschool and 45 a day for toddlers.
Peekaboo is similar (they charge weekly rather than daily) and they offer a sibling discount if both your children go there.

I prefer daycare to home care. It's just my comfort zone to have supervisors minding the teachers. The extra level of security is huge to me. As is the structure and knowing they aren't watching t.v. and that the food and program is regulated. That said, it's not perfect. There are definitely advantages to home care and the vast majority of my friends chose that route.
