Back on topic...if you like mediocre overpriced pizza and rubbery oily overpriced calamari, this is the place to go.

Try Tony Spiducci's or Osso Bucco.

Tony Spiduccis has fantastic food. They are indirect need of renovating their bathrooms though, pretty gross.

If you want a meal at Portobellos, be prepared to wait as long as it took me to post this after the original post by KathrynTony.

On a weeknight when the service is quicker, I would recommend ordering, going to a movie, going for a romantic sunset walk, going home for "coffee" and then coming back to the restaurant. Only about a half hour wait after that.

Just went to Portebello's a couple nights ago...steak and veggies...perfect! Worth the money. Wife had grilled Salmon...perfect. Little bit pricey on the wine, but I have never had a bad meal there.

Shoeless Joes - last week. My third and last attempt at this place. If you like nachos, wings and beer then this is the place for you. Lots of TV screens for sports. If you're looking for a higher end meal 1/10...raw veggies, med steak was well done and service was the worst I've seen in my life.

Marquee is another great restaurant, but I never seem to be able to get a seat without a reservation. I'm not a reservation person.

Outside of Milton, I have have been disappointed with the Keg lately...

I think Ontario would have a lot to learn from BC and California restaurants. West coast rules this industry.

Not my experience at all...I was there Friday night. Service was perfect..finished our first glass of wine, food was ready.

We love Portabellos! The food and service is one of the best in town for sure. We eat there probably once every few months.

Great to hear, was probably my only "room for improvement" in the whole place. Food is fantastic, competitively priced for what you get and the staff are very nice and can put up with my shitty jokes for a couple of hours.

Will definitely be going there again shortly.
