We have received the official letter yesterday. The FRENCH school is opening in September 2007. Grade 1 to 6 (not sure if it will include JK and SK) It will be located on Britania in front on Terra Greenhouse by trafalgar. This includes L9T & L0... postal code. (I'll check to make sure) Sandra Sandra forgot to mention that it will be a Catholic French school. Tim |

I have my daughter Registered for Grade One FI in September. Currently they state that she would be attending Robert Baldwin but I guess that could change now. We're in Phase One in HV. |

Any word on whether this school will have the same stringent family guidelines as Sacre Coeur in Georgetown? I'd love to transfer my kids there, but I am not "naturally" french. I do speak it, but not native tongue. Jessica |

I believe that's a board rule, not an individual school rule. |

Update! Primary French Catholic School. I was just reading on the web site for the board that the gov. has approve 4.3 million $ for the "aquisition of a permanent site in Milton" The opening of the french school for 2007 will be a "temporary location" and it will include all children from the L9T & L0P area. That's really great to hear. My oldest daugther will definitely be going there the following fall. While on the subject of French does anyone know a French speaking child care provider in Hawthorne Village? Thanks. |
