Hi,

I'm having a bit of a problem with my gas furnace. It is heating my house correctly, but the fan is running almost constantly, even after the heating cycle is completed. I have the fan control set to "auto" on the thermostat. I would like someone to take a look at this and do and perform a seasonal tuneup.

Does anyone have experiences with a local HVAC company that can take care of this for me?

Thanks.

Let me guess - you have an HRV?

If so, then it can cause the furnace blower to run all the time.

Look at the bottom of the HRV where the wires connect to the unit.

You will also see a small round black button. If you see any lights ON in that area ( look closely, usually green ) then press the black button either once or twice and the green light and the furnace blower will both shut off.

In some of the newer Mattamy town homes the HRV is a small square unit and the "over-ride" button is near the top of the left side of the unit. Same instructions - If you see a light ON - press the black button until the light goes OFF

Don't know if the cold weather has anything to do with it, but my thermostat keeps clicking on and off continuously. I've set the humidifier to off but therm is still calling for humidity...it's already 20% so
It really doesn't need it.

Anyone know someone who could check the thermostat wiring for a short or the humidifier for a solenoid issue? Licensed, does this on the side?
