I have a question I am hoping someone will be able to provide me advice. We recently purchased a new home from Mattamy that required us to sign up for a rental agreement for our heat and hot water. We moved in in May 2013 and have already had the system break three times. The two most recent times have been during the -20 degree weather and the last time the company didn't get back us for 4 days and we are now out again playing the waiting game.
Needless to say we are not thrilled with their service and want to go with a company that would least more reliable or purchase a unit from somewhere - as we cannot keep taking days off work to deal/wait for the issue to be resolved.
Are there any circumstances that would allow us to get out of the contract - it seems to imply we are stuck with the them forever. For example if they didn't include the cost to buy out or costs to cancel in the service agreement or more simply if they refuse to meet some reasonable standard of care.
Thanks
