Just wondering how many members are Mustang owners? Anyone a member of GTAMC? I've got a 2010 Sterling Gray Mustang GT. We should get together when the weather warms up.

Question: I had a mustang a while back. Always dreamed of getting an old one like the one below.

Saw this 1968 Ford Mustang on autoTRADER.ca's ....What do you think? It needs body work, brake lines ect. It does run. I really like this car. He lives in T.O....would you buy this car? Is this a money pit? I know it is overpriced...Barret-Jackson did a great job of turning junk cars into $100G projects...but is this worth it? Love this car and have done some reseach on it. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

Barrett-Jackson turns GT500's into $100k+ cars, not that one. If you're seriously looking, I'd be checking out Arizona/New Mexico/SoCal, etc... I'd avoid anything from the rust belt(Great Lakes vicinity).
edit: you could have this for the same price....sans rust.

Good morning,

my current ride is a factory ordered 2007 2nd run GT convertible with a modified CS edition, Firered Metallic. Driven year round.

I'm loving the look and interior of the new 50th Anniversary one that will be coming out.

What do the purists think of the incoming independent suspension that's been a long-time coming?

Wow, very cool to have had had one special ride for over 30 years, good for you. Did you originally buy from Gallinger? Post some pics; I love the nostalgia of old cars that remind me of my childhood.

I purchased the '82 GT from Little Brothers Ford on Weston road in Etobicoke...
I had it in storage for quite a while and am now in the process of fixing some issues (headliner, etc.)

There's a car group, I think they are Mustang owners, who meet for breakfast at the Trafalgar Truck Stop every Saturday morning at 8:30. There seems to be around 12 to 15 of them most weeks. I only go there in winter with my golf group so don't know if they meet there throughout the year or just winter.

I've seen that also but I've never heard of any meets going on there. I know they do a yearly cruise and that's the meeting point but the weeklies are probably buddies getting together for breakfast and not an official meet.
