why does it feel like everywhere I go, they have no idea what they are doing and purely after the money.
Making me lose respect for these folks. I used to have a good one for my cat in Toronto but I don't want to go so far.
Are there any good vets in milton, mississauga, oakville etc.? I don't mind driving even upto half hour if its someone good.

Melissa McPhee at Burnhamthorpe Animal Hospital in Mississauga, ask for her specifically. I've been going there for 15 years, even after moving to Milton. All the vets there are awesome and it's an AAHA Accredited hospital, so top quality care.
600 Burnhamthorpe Road West (just east of Mavis on the south side)

Dr. Dawson at animal Hospital of Milton on main street, right by the mall. He's excellent. He helped us through several tough situations, doesn't push for expensive treatments and will give it to you straight - no BS.

We use Dr. Goldie Rosen for routine vet stuff (she comes to th house which is a huge plus for me) but use Toronto Vetrenary Emergncy Hospital (in Scarborough) for more complicated things. Our dog was referred there by our old vet and they turned out to be great. They're not TOO expensive if you consider what the overhead is for vets. I think Dr. Goldie's prices are more reasonable because she works out of her home so regular healthy pets who just need the annual checkup and vaccines can really benefit from a service like that.

Dr.Rosely at Hollybank. We have been taking our dog to Dr.Rosely for about 8 years, and she is amazing.

Dr Ball in Brookeville (Guelph Line) is great, nothing but good experiences with him.

Dr.Dawson all the way!

Just a hint not naming anyone but I highly advise to think twice if your vet is on James snow parkway.

It's just an animal, how good do they have to be? Animals don't even have a soul.
