One night I needed an exchange propane tank for my small welding/brazing setup back in February, and I must have visited 6 difference places just to find one that had a tank to exchange. I ended up finding one at the Q on 25. Must have been because it wasn't BBQ season though.

Should have posted here, I almost always have a full spare tank available.
Would have been nice to have an IOU for a welding project in my back pocket.

Me too. I have two, actually. Only suckers use propane - NG is where it's at.

I agree with this. My stove and BBQ are both NG, but unfortunately it is not as ideal for my torch setup, or as portable. Right now I am using an oxygen concentrator (the machine that keeps grandma alive) as an oxygen source and a bbq propane tank. It works real well, but am I just learning, so I won't be much help to others until I get better. Good news is, a tank should last me a really long time for what I am doing.

I find Canadian Tire a pain in the ass. You have to walk a mile to pay the cashier, and every once and a while you go and nobody there is qualified to run the pump.

The pioneer on Trafalgar charges $15 a tank.

Walk a mile?? Come one man - the cash register is 20 steps from when you enter the front door!

It is a mile if you park near the propane station, which you will unless you like lugging the tank all over the place.

It’s not a death march, but why bother if you can just go somewhere else that’s not so lame?

Convenience? TSC being closed Friday and Sunday (I had to fill my tank on Sunday) isn't very convenient.

Burlington - just to fill a tank is an absolutely waste of time and gas.

Other than those two alternatives, what other one do you have??

No, I have a second - but I don't keep them both filled. The same sh*t would happen - I'd finish one, put the other one on, forget that I had to fill the first one, and then need to fill up one of them on a Sunday would arise again... I have no idea why it always seems to be sunday BBQ that I need the tanks...

normally canadian tire - unless it's after hours, then sometimes a tank swap at the superstore gas station or in a real pinch the automated tank machine at walmart, since you can do that at 2 in the morning if you need to... and I had to once... LOL...

According to the tsc website they are. Why I've never bothered to drive by it on those days as I don't travel past that area for any other reason.

Deep sounds like you need to take it easy on the beer and steaks lol

For me time is money and tsc is just that. Lumberville is great as well. I don't need to make a production and walking football fields to get what I need over a few bucks but that's just me. Another reason why I shop at food port lol. To each his own!

That'll be easy, since I don't drink or eat either of those things!

My body can't process beer well, since an operation I had in 2006 - so hard stuff only! And I'm Hindu - so no beef!!
