Looking at purchasing a 2014 Maxima - went to Milton, want to shop 1-2 dealerships to ensure best price.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Deep, why a Maxima? Can you bro in law help?

Go see my friend Derek Bird at 401/Dixie Nissan and tell him Will sent you.

I like the style and right now, until Oct 31st, they are offering $8K off from the factory, putting the car at under $31K new - used just doesn't make sense when 1-2 year old ones are rentals at $23-$25K with 30-50K on the clock

I discussed it with him and we agreed that the price differential was too small and was worth it to go new for added warranty and peace of mind (rentals aren't always treated well).

Do you have an opinion on the new ones? I know you love yours!

I went to school with a buddy who is the sales manager at a nissan/infinity dealership.

He may be able to help you out but you would have to go out to Thornhill.

Let me know if you want his contact info.

Wow, $8K off. I think the front-end looks funky, but otherwise, it does look good, has sledgehammer acceleration and is very luxuriously equipped for the price as Maximas have always been awesome for that, but my current one will probably be my last one due to me not liking the CVT. I'm actually thinking about selling mine for someone to own as a winter car and getting something newer myself (eyeing a CPO Lexus GS350 or Infiniti M37S).

The Kia Cadenza is a good option too as there are a lot of factory incentives for that ride.

Good luck and let me know what you find. It looks nicest in White!

No problem, glad to help.

Tony helped me out on my last two Altima's and helped a client I referred to him with a Sentra.

Just be upfront and let him know your shopping the same car with a few other dealerships, and I'm sure he will be able to work out a deal for you.

You don't need contacts now a days with internet coming into play.
Just sign up, or ask someone on car forums that have topic on this section to give you pricing from https://www.carcostcanada.com/en/ add 3-4% to the wholesale price so dealer will make some money and then mass email or call dealers saying this is the price you want to buy the car for, no coming in to talk about pricing, yes or no.
I got $3000 off my Venza this way.

Those sites are a joke. Tried one last time, no one wanted to give me a price without coming in.

I have a good arrangement with Milton Toyota. Our family and friends have bought 10-12 cars from them so now the sales manager just turns his screen to us, shows us cost and says I need to make $x on this to make it work. Clean simple and easy.

I did the same as m4rtin for my wife's Venza.

Emailed the price to 7 or so dealers. 6 told me to go fly a kite, one bit.

Very good experience and rather nice to be in the dealership for 15 minutes to make a car purchase.

They needed a staples easy button.

Email Florin for a no BS quote. It's totally free to you. I plan to use them next spring to price out a Mazda CX5.

I recently bought a new car and initially tried to use Florin. He gave me a price which was suppose to be the best available but I felt I could get better. In the end, the dealer that Florin sent me to could care less about selling us a car so we walked out and ended up getting a better deal with a different dealer. If you are not the type who likes to negotiate then Florin will be a good option for you.

I also e-mailed a bunch of dealers asking for their best price and most did reply and were interested in working with me. Since I needed a car asap I ended up negotiating with one closest to home.

Good luck!

Unhaggle.com is pretty good if you pay the $100.
