So I've noticed that Volunteer Fair is coming to Milton.I'd guess there are no opportunities
there for creative story and drawings projects there.

I've also noticed that the Equity Office over at
Canada Council for the Arts has a new program for the
deaf and disabled called "Cultivate" As I understand it,first get
applications to get organizations up and running, then ask
for applications for creative story and drawing projects.

So back in December 2013 a certain visually impaired woman on Milton's
Accessibility Committee asked me to do some work on a documentary film she hoped to
make dealing with disabilities.

Since I kmow blindness, deafness, amputations, bed sores etc is a real downer to deal with,
I theorized a world where the Powers-That-Be have declared "no bad things will happen to
humans and no humans will do bad things"

The underworld of that wondrous paradise was populated with unicorns, dragons and
thunderbirds.Basically the dragons as shown by the drawing below of
Philadelphia Relique spend their time trying to thwart the
Powers-That-Be with Ruth Goldbergian gizmos, the factory worker
thunderbirds make the gizmos and the angel-unicorns lecture first, use their
hooves second,to enforce the will of the Powers-That-Be

Basically light-medium-grim humour plotlines dealing with
disability and crime and bullying/Child Finders issues from the other side of the coin

So does Milton have the volunteers and resources that would be needed to
thrash out tolerable tasteful plots,drawings,etc?

So does anybody in Milton.Halton know if there are any internet radio streaming sites
with any time slots available ?( ideally free) ( something like
radiozilverstream.nl de Wingvanger is a family relation)

If I had to dream up a coverstory for the internet shows host it might go like this

" Philadelphia Grendel was born on October 17 1767 of a loving
mother named Dorothea and a scoundrel named Robert.A minor player in the
political scene she spends her time freezing up text-tospeech such as JAWS and
speech-to-text engines such as Dragon Naturally Speaking.
One dark and stormy night she marched into the long abandoned radio transmitter at
Able Mills, waved her magic amulet and the transmitter was back on the air."

Likely she'd be a text-to-speech engine ( Melanie?) and deal with music produce produced by
disabled folk ,disability news, real life guests and slice and dice people with hard hitting questions
delivered in that positive cheerful voice text-to-speech engines have.

The producers however would have quite a challenge rounding up her victims(guests)
for her show

It makes for a more interesting plot.In a abandoned segment of the story
Alfeena the Unicorn disguises herself as a 'thunder chic"
