All Inclusive - Dominican, Cuba or Mayan Riveira?

Never been so looking for some input...

Cuban officials have a reputation for ripping tourists off when they're leaving the country.

I stayed in Huatulco Mexico on the west coast and it was pretty nice as it isn't a huge tourist destination.

I'd have to say I liked Radisson Cable Beach in the Bahamas, but that was so long ago!

Out of your three choices, I'd say the Mayan Riviera would offer the most variety of things for your whole family to take part in.

Just my $ 0.02

I don't know about Mexico, as I would prefer not to take a chance and potentially come back to Canada in a body bag, but I was gonna suggest maybe Turks and Caicos if you're thinking Carribean. A former co-worker went there with her family and had a blast.

The Mayan Riviera all the way! We stayed at the Catalonia Yucatan Resort which is 10mins south of Playa del Carmen...we had an AMAZING time. There is so much to do and so much to see. If you want PM me and I can send you some pics.

We had no less than 20 people recommend the Bahia Principe in the Dominican to us... some of which were close family and friends.

It was a terrific place to stay. Food, accomodations and resort were wonderful.

I've never heard of a bad experience there.

I'm with the Mayan Riveria people as well, stayed at the Grande Xcaret, beautiful resort.

But from a political point of view, I would avoid Mexico, its not that the Mayan side is particularly bad, quite the contrary, but you can support the Canadian's and other inocenet victims of crime but putting pressure on Mexico's government to deal with the issue, by withholding your tourism dollars.

I have stayed at the same resort and I would go back in a heartbeat. I loved the marina in Puerto Aventuras, we'd go there most days for a walk.

I would stay away from Cuba since we went there and it wasn't that great. We went to Varadero and 4* was still iffy. Los Cabos Mexico is neat and not too busy but we can't stay away from Paradise Island Bahamas. We have actually been 3 times and can't sy enough about how great everything always is. If you want fun for the entire family you can stay at Comfort Suites right across from Atlantis Hotel and use all the Atlantis facilties which are so fun. We did this one year and it cuts down n cost. Just last year we stayed at Atlantis and it was awesome but quite pricey, the only reason we stayed there is becasue our flights were all free so wejusthad room to pay for. They actually just added more to their resort with a whole new waterpark. Check out the website!! Can't wait to go back again soon.
