Does anyone know if mattamy includes the basement in their square footage Calculations?

I just read an article that says only actual living spaces ( such as the living room, kitchen etc.) are calculated into sqft. so this probably means that the garage also isn't included either, right?

Finished living space, including outside walls.

Garage is not living space. Not included.

Basement is not finished. Not included.

The basement and garage is my living space! 8) 8) Since we also have a cold room food and beverages are not a problem too!!

If you buy your plans from the town, it has the square footage calculated per floor on them. Basement and garage are not included.

Note real estate agents will advertise total liveable or finished square footage when listing a basement that is finished...
