Anyone notice it seems to be WAY windier in Milton the last few years than it was 7 or 8 years ago?

It seems just about every garbage day I can't put my recycling out.....

is this climate change? I hear climate change is an untrue government conspiracy. The good thing is CN won't be able to stack their containers more than 2 or 3 high in our 80 k/hr daily wind.

No, I haven't, it's always windy this time of year.

Along with spring rain, it seems like it's Nature's way of cleansing the environment of the winter's contaminants. At least that's how I rationalise it.

Are we ever moving to the covered blue bins? I went for a run and saw so much garbage around the creeks from the wind..

I was thinking the same thing. Garbage is everywhere. Does Milton have anyone who cleans up this mess? If not, is there some sort of community garbage cleanup day?

I believe big spender Zeeshan mentioned we might be getting blue bins with lids....he said 'well worth the cost'. He'll make a good Liberal after all!

It depends on your location here. Where we are for five years it is on and on and on. It comes with luxury of open space.
I asked one person who is slightly south after Dundas in Oakville, winds are less.

Here, in March it feels very cold because of the wind. I was walking with kids for 1+ hour regularly and it feels bad after one hour.
Table was blown from the deck in previous summer. And roof shingles ...

It helps blow all the remaining election signs to their final resting place in the ditch on the NE side of LSL/25. Sooo many Mian Abubaququqar signs. Do Lorenzo is a close second.

The town should require a deposit on these things to pay for cleanup the following spring.

Isn't there supposed to be a fine imposed if candidates don't remove the signs within a certain time frame? Why isn't the town collecting on that?

Did anyone tell zeeshan there was some urgency at the time? Only 4 yrs later we have another freak windy day, but in February this time. Unpredictable for sure. Maybe next year Milton can be proud?

Are supplies of these special single-purpose blue bags provided to us as a public service, like the special single-purpose blue boxes? Or is it #BYOB?
