Hello everyone,
I am one of the residents on Tight Crt that directly faces the new park that is due to be created on Asleton.
I have spoke with the town and Mattamy because I was curious to know what they were including in their rendering. I found out there will be a park with swings and climbers. Seating area, a shaded pavillion, parking on the right side, trails and a soccer field. No basketball net.
I have been told that in order to get one, the first step would be to get a petition going. I would need at least 100 for them to reconsider re-submitting the plan to include one.
So......here I am.
I am reaching out to see if I can reach my goal to get one put in the plans. It would be a great addition to our little community park.
I have started a poll to see if i can get at least 100 names and lot numbers to submit to both Mattamy and the Town of Milton in order for them to reconsider!!
Please help make this a reality.

Yes: 171-03. Daniela Vicino Loos.

Sunny Mount Park on Ruhl (across Bronte) already has 2 half-court basketball courts. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Tight Crt.

I wouldn't mind courts at the Asleton Park, but I would hope that they would be far enough from my place that I wouldn't be hearing basketballs bouncing off the pavement all day.
