hi Hanif & Michelle its Danny & Lara, lot #39. welcome to the site. its funny, i have been asking if anyone lives on vickerman way for over a year now, you sign up yesturday, post the question and baddabing, you get a responce. i even made a new topic calling out all vickerman way residents, and still nothing. hi Irene & Ben, it was difficult to meet each other...i knew i should have brought a sign with our street name  Im lot 39 with address 927, hanif is lot 43 with address 911, and you have the address of 970 lot number ?...is it me or are these numbers really off in comparison to the lot numbers?

Its funny for you guys to be looking for your neighbors when I've posted a note sooo many times to find all of you  I've actually met 2 couples so far that are on either side of us, we are lot 37L (935 Vickerman way) so the 3rd and last semi on the street (towards the park). The semis are actually up standing without a roof. I wonder why the detached houses have been delayed. Please let me know if you guys know the reason. So far with the pace they're constructing at, we're expecting our house to be ready by end of July for sure. Our official closing is Aug 8th but we are hoping to move in a week early.
Take care guys and i visit every weekend so i'll keep you guys posted! so far only the basements have been poured for all of the detached homes on Vickerman way (not the ones right next to the park though I think) |

Hi kirannaved, i remmember that post and at the time it was just us two, now there are a few more of us online. Wow, your semi is up already, its been 2 weeks since i last went to the site and the floor was just on the first semi. Cant emagine why we are delayed but the reason they gave us was due to weather. the delay is only about 30 days....so its barable in our case. |

Hi everyone, went to the site on friday, and 'oooo myyy wooord' the semi's are completly framed, lot 38 you are framed missing a roof (any one who owns this lot?), my lot 39 we have our first floor framed with stairs leading to the sky..lol, lot 40...sorry Peter, your lot is just the basement foundation....so sorry  , lot 41-46, you either have 1st or both floors framed and just missing the roof. Hanif...your lot i keep getting confused that you have 46 instead of 43...i believe that your house is 1/2 built. with progress like this, why do they say we will be delayed? whatch them close early......i was being serious

Hey Danny and Lara, we were there Friday too! did you not notice that our roof is almost complete? your profile says brownridge but then your signature says shady glen, which lot are you guys? are you to the left of the 3rd semi? im not too good with the lot#s but can count them when i'm there we are the 3rd semi in towards the park.....tc later

hey kirannaved, yup i did notice that your roof was almost complete...sorry i forgot to mention it...when i saw the progress on our homes i pretty much ran up and down the street...lol.. As for the brownridge i think that is the name of the builder's company doing our houses...maybe different for you guys...i have erased that so no more confussion. we are lot 39..so the last semi before the first single house is lot 37L (this is your home) ...and the house beside the semi is lot 38, we are beside lot 38. Hey do you know who is at lot 38? |

hey, thanks for the explanation  yes, i've met the lot 38 couple, dont remember their names  i met them a the design centre once, they seemed nice
i just cant wait to move to our new house!!! i'm sure everyone else is in the same position! i'm excited about the park down our street too
i wonder why lot 38 was delayed, looks like its coming along just fine, what was the reason for your delay Danny? |

lot 38 is going up pretty well, lot 40 closes a day after us (sept 20) and they still have nothing done....weird. The reason they gave for all the delays was bad weather. so as a background, lara and i are first time home buyers (under 30 yrs) as are our friends on lot 40. During our design centre appoint. and mattamy u it was nice to see all the couples more or less around our age.. This will be a perfect place to raise children and the park adds to the fun. Is lot 38 a young couple.. i cant remember from when we met everyone during the puchase back in april 2006? did you purchase your home on that saturday back in april 2006.....hmmm..not sure we have met! tc |

Hi Hanif, we had our structural frame walk yesturday. It went great...they go over the whole house and it lasts about an hour. make sure you print off the form from the internet under this section under forms and PDI downloads....its called 'framewalk' |
