Yeah, I know it's most hated around here ... but, still thought it'd share:

I'm sure there is enough dandelions in our parks and industrial areas to keep the bees happy & healthy.

I'm sure the Town would not mind if go to the park and pick a bunch for your personal consumption. :D

Is there any test to see if your harvest has any dog piss on it?

Obviously I don't pick it anywhere near pathways or areas where there might be a lot of people/animals
Roaming. As a general rule, if the plant is thriving it's good to eat. It's probably the best thing you can do for your liver. Some people let this plant consume them, I choose to consume the plant. And how many of you come home in a fury shaking your fists at the weeds, then cozy up to a nice jack and coke? It's the pinnacle of ignorance really.

What's a "traditional lawn" that you think is stupid ? Is it a lush green lawn with a few well maintained gardens ? From what I have seen most people who have nice lawns and gardens simply enjoy working on them. It also has the added benefit of being a healthy activity. Nothing "stupid" about that.

I agree. Having a weed free lawn is something to be enjoyed. It is pride of ownership and interest to keeping the yard looking good with great curb appeal.

And I agree also, as much as I appreciate this wonderful plant, I only have two on my front lawn which I will be removing. Letting them flourish on you lawn just looks like you don't care about your property, and tarnishes the whole street.
But to think by spraying them down (public areas) with chemicals to try and eradicate them your dreaming. They'll be back next year.

So is painting the interior and exterior of your home, washing your car, and daily showering. We should stop doing those things, too.

It's not so much spraying, rather more frequent cutting during May and September when the dandelions grow would reduce the amount of seeds blown all around town. They did this for a year and it was cool - then council figured enough was enough and decided to throw up a big middle finger to their constituents.

People with this lazy and irresponsible attitude should not be living in houses because obviously they have no concept of how to properly look after a home. They should move to a barn somewhere away from civilized society.

We have a few of them on our street with that kind of mentality and their yards are a total disgrace. They aren't the least bit ashamed nor fazed about their neighbours' complaints. Honestly, I often wonder what cesspool they were raised in or come from.
