Does anyone have the experience to move a king size mattress to second floor?

My house(8 ft high) will be closed next month, and I am shopping around all new stuffs. I want to buy a king size bed. I measure the height between the stairs and the ceiling is 2 meters. I am worry about it.

My house model is Shady Glen in 14B.

Thanks in advanced.

King is often easier than Queen. The mattress itself is soft and "bendy" so it's no problem, it's the box spring that's a pain... every King bed I've ever seen has two seperate box springs that go together with a single big mattress... a Queen, on the other hand, is one big box spring and can be tougher.

yeah it shouldn't be a problem... you can get a queen with a split base too. that's what we did.

I have a sealy King sized, and we chose Sealy because it actually can bend right in half. It's a couple of years old now, so they all might be able to do that now.
