Great pricing, well below market value. For phase 1 the lineups were night and day though. Much busier now than 4 months ago.

Do realtors have inside knowledge on when these releases will happen?

In this case I didn't, just happened to be 15 minutes away when the email hit. In my experience only Mattamy employees have any insight. Usually the "friends and family" release is the day before too, so word can get out from people who bought there too.

Sometimes we do catch wind of them.

^^ Now that is funny.

Totalpkg you should really take a browse at the current positions being taken in the market worldwide. For that matter you should also take a look at the changes being proposed and implemented legislatively by your various government. People far more knowledgeable ( smart money) are hedging their positions accordingly.

If you also take a look at the "deline thread" the backdrop as to why a correction did not happen is the 4.5 trillion of Tarp money that was injected into the market by the US government. That is the equivalent of Canada's entire GDP of 2.2 years. People that want the game going with the limited exposure are fueling the climb.

I could go on but why? Housing is personal and making people feel less rich is not popular.

also to note is that Mattamy has increased the amount of deposit required by 2.5 times. This is to ensure if someone defaults, they loose the entire deposit. Ouch they are to loose now min. $100k.

They are playing dirty game with small lots release and now this deposit structure. Sure someone could get burned with all these dramas.

I don't see it. I see something that says sold out but no prices. Can you please post the link?

The 30s were 20k more this release and the 43s were 30k more. The deposits were doubled from the release 2 weeks.

the ticket number you have is useless as the number you have is beyond the number of lots released. In any case you are not going, so that is a good decision.

Has anyone looked at the latest release of 2 storey / 3 storey condo towns and village homes in River Mill community Cambridge? Would like to know your opinions on the current prices if they're worth it. Thanks!
