Post subject:  What Happened?
Massive police presence today (undercover + normals)
Multiple road barricaded and schools on lockdown
Anyone know what is happening?

Bronte St S, Main St W ( 2 locations), Scott Blvd (3 locations), Forbes Terrace, Athlone Dr
I am sure there are more roadblocks & checkpoints but those I saw

What schools are you referring to? You should name them so you don't panic the entire neighborhood needlessly.

Twitter is the key for these things. Since there is absolutely nothing on Halton Police or the HDSB twitter feeds, I'm going to say... nothing of any significance happened.

The word on the facebook street was that 2 guys were being looked for that did an attempted robbery.

Queen of Heaven and Escarpment View were both on hold & secure (when bad s went on outside the school vs. a lockdown where bad s happened inside the school)

I kind of thought the roads would be of more value (I mean if your kid goes to somewhere like Bruce Trail seeing as it was nowhere near the box I described you should not have worried?)
Google Maps is useful for finding a road I named if you have no idea where it is

Yeah
The school lied also

They sent out a notice claiming it was a "drill"
I told my friend I knew that was bs since police blocked the roads & they called school to confirm kid ok

About 20 mins later a second notice was sent out claiming a hold & secure during an investigation and the kids were all fine

I'm curious what happened and why everyone is so quiet about it

And again Google Maps would show I was correct
I said I saw as far south as Athlone but expected there would be more
The news report (linked) says they also were on Farrington

What are you not understanding?
Its still a box (just bigger than I initially claimed) and maps make more sense if you are unfamiliar with the roads

But if every road linked means nothing to you then it probably is not happening near your school right?

That's pretty presumptuous. You are presuming drugs, or do you know? You seem confident and convinced ( and convincing) of something that nobody else has mentioned.
