I've read some pretty bad reviews on LG & Samsung so that doesn't leave much left to choose from.

That's the dilemma. Leaning to Maytag right now. Loved the LG range but the matching fridge had cheap finishes.

Generally I too would recommend Kenmore.

However, my place came with mostly Maytag appliances. Most are just over 10 years old now.

Washer/Dryer - still ok, dryer is gas, highly recommend gas
Gas stove - OMG, don't get white! Otherwise ok.
Dishwasher - think it's actually whirlpool, not Maytag but still doing well
Fridge - only appliance with a problem, after 10 years, water line had a leak within the fridge, replaced it with a Kenmore.

Kenmore is a brand name Sears uses, again this is made by a common manufacturer. So you may not see Kenmore anymore as Sears has exit its business. You can find Kenmore in the Sears liquidation stores now.

Kenmore/whirlpool/kitchenaid, whatever. All made by the same manufacturer.

Why ask for reviews from the 10 or so people you’ll get answers from here? There’s actual websites dedicated to this.

Yes....All made by the same manufacturer. You can also say the Fiesta & Mustang (Ford) are made by the same manufacturer. Each brand name comes in several levels each costing a little more. Would the top model of the Kenmore be the same as the top model of the Kitchenaid? Touch screens, knobs, buttons, switches, sensors, are they of higher quality in top end models? On the internet they will tell you what you want to hear and hide what THEY don't want you to know. You get dazzled by their footwork and baffled by their bullshit.

Asking ppl here will get you honest comments on appliances they have owned, their own experiences. I do believe that some problems ppl have with appliances are b/c they don't always follow instructions. Then they blame the appliance brand when break downs happen and tell ppl not to buy them.

No problem. We have decided on Maytag appliances. They seem to be just what we are looking for.

We have GE stove, fridge, microwave, upright freezer, washer and dryer since June 2008 when we moved to Milton. Zero issues with any of them.
