Anyone here using a video baby monitor or ip camera?

I want to set one up. I want to be able to just look using my smart phone and my media center PC.

I already know everything that is out there and how to set it all up.

Im just curious to see what people who are happy with their choice are using.

YOUVE ALREADY MADE UP YOUR MIND BUT I RECOMMEND A SEPARATE STAND ALONE DEVICE. THAT WAY YOU CAN USE YOUR PHONE OR WHATEVER AND IF THERE IS SOMETHING THAT NEEDS YOUR ATTENTION THE OTHER MONITOR WILL “CLICK ON” WITH ITS OWN DISTINCT SOUND. IT SEEMS LIKE HAVIG TWO THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT WOULD SUCK BUT ITS ACTUALLY KINDA BETTER.

PHONE NOTIFICATIONS GET LOST IN THE SHUFFLE. GOOD LUCK.

Very popular choice is the HIK cameras. they are very good quality for a very low price. I have three and they work very well.

@Hodor Im always open to suggestions. I know my tech but Im new to having a baby & baby monitor.
Reason I was leaning the way I was is in my family room I have a 55" tv with a dedicated media center, its open concept to my kitchen, if baby is a sleep and lets say wife baking in kitchen she can put the 55" tv to the baby monitor and it would be nice. However after more reading it seems there is many reasons to get a dedicated setup.

@Wyl thanks for the suggestion will look at them.
