Halton regional police Const. Ryan Anderson says officers were called to the Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School at around 11:30 a.m. after receiving reports that a group of people was chasing another group while waving a firearm.

Anderson says police followed the group off school grounds, but ultimately arrested seven people on school property.

One of the teens has been released, while the others remain in custody.

Anderson says no one was injured, but police have recovered a knife and two other weapons believed to be either real or replica firearms.

Ok now who wants to play the racism game?

I'd guess the kids are packing 'Dry Ice" ie CO2
powered pellet pistols like the Crossman
that can shoot BB's up to 480 fpm

If the kids are into something more powerful
a 9mm Glock
then we're all in trouble

Where did you hear that? I didn’t read anything that said weed was part of the issue.

Weed is often the solution, not the problem.

Yes, sorry.

Weed is often the solution, not the CAUSE.

My bad.

Let's not make light of the Bramptonification of Milton please, its a serious matter. This place does not have to turn to sh*t, I still don't believe it's inevitable.

Hodor, I'll guess only 1/7th of that group had found the solution to problems, and the other 6/7ths were feeling left out? Maybe it was just a bag of Doritos or something? Perhaps he was bogarting WiteOut or other school supplies?

Six youths who were arrested after a lockdown at a Milton, Ont., high school have now been charged with robbery and a weapons offence.
The six, who cannot be identified because they are underage, were taken into custody Thursday after an incident at Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School.

Police have said they received reports that a group of people was chasing another youth while waving a firearm.
They said officers followed the group off school grounds, but ultimately arrested seven people on school property. One of them was released shortly afterwards.
Police said no one was injured, but officers seized a knife and a pellet gun.

Actually I was thinking more
ghettos in Toronto/Murder a week
kind of stuff.I didn't even know Brampton has replaced Toronto as a place to avoid

Though the media and the cops will be screaming
"firearms firearms firearms"

I'm inclined to think its the sleeper weapon

^^^^^^^^^^knives^^^^^^^^^^^

that will do the main damage

Its amazing the kinds of nasty deadly looking knives
that importers bring in

and they're the kind of sexy weapon kids drool over
