May I ask if someone have issues with thier AFCI Breakers.

The house is Mattamy build, 2 years old and suddenly Last Tuesday July 16, the AFCI breakers for the garage plugs and for the living (main) room (which are both side by side) is always tripping, It was and still tripping when I turned on the garage door opener and the Plasma TV.

Upon talking to 2 Licensed Electrician and some googling, I found out that Brush Motor such as the Garage door opener and Plasma TV are so called "Incompatible appliance" with AFCI breakers that is also based on ESA website. I also ready somewhere that the code is to use GFCI for Refrigerator as it will always trips an AFCI breaker. I guess it has to be the same with Garage door openers.

For now I have connected both said appliance to a GFCI protected circuit and have an appointment with a Licensed Electrician to look at it.

Do you have any experienced problems with AFCI breakers?

Just now, the dedicated circuit of the washing machine that is protected by an afci breaker tripped. Tried to reset and tripped again. 3 things comes up in mind, incompatible appliance, something wrong within the panel or humid basement at 55% RH (note dehumidifier is running).

When I use my Stihl electric trimmer in my outdoor plug it often trips the arc fault circuit breaker for my bedrooms, yet my outdoor plug is controlled by a regular circuit breaker. Mattamy Home about 14 years old. Electrician could not figure it out. I would maybe need to rewire the whole home as there may be a phantom wire or something causing this problem. Electric lawn mower does not seem to trip the AFC breaker.
