Of the two leading party MPs (yes I know there are other choices), who would you vote for... an olympic rower with no political experience, or a lawyer who currently sits as the deputy leader to the opposition and has held 3 different cabinet minister positions ? |

I have to admit - I'm not a fan of the current cap and trade under the libs. I found it very tone def that they collected cap and trade taxes from us only to hand 12 million of those hard earned dollars over the Loblaws so they could upgrade their freezers. ( just Google - Loblaws given 12 million ) Why not just mandate that Loblaws and other similar companies upgrade their freezers to more efficient freezers within a set time period. Maybe encourage them with tax incentives. After all, setting standards is what governments do. For example - 10 seer air conditioners were banned because they are less efficient and new furnaces must be at least 96 percent efficient. May - the greens - thinks the planet is "on fire" and if that's the case then we need to get China, India, and other countries on board or we will all burn up. After all - China is considering building another 300 to 500 coal burning plants. |

Lisa is the best choice..but..A.S. will be the PM and if he plays in the same sandbox as Ford, we, the middle class, will be screwed over. If Adam wins we get J.T. as PM but for me the only problem with him is him giving other country's our money. And you know MP's need to follow the party line or their careers are over so don't expect too much from Lisa or Adam. So far how are we doing with Parm G. |

Adam WAS a good choice for me till I found these out... Adam was nominated and previous Milton Liberal candidate did not get a chance to fully contest Adam's nomination using due process, In short Adam was placed like a favorite. The most disturbing part if Justin asked previous Milton Liberal candidate that I want you to resign because I have someone else in mind then that very much openly undermine the true and clean intention by practicing a violation of true democratic rights. I mean if this is true then JT is one dirty, dictatorship player. Adam FB page is so filtered that so much posters are starting to look like they are arguing with themselves. If a friend gets put on the golden seat, then the friendship goes well beyond friend zone if you know what I mean. |

That is nothing new for a party to do. They all do it. They will put someone in where they think they will win or at least be competitive. |

You have to admit dumping that big weasel Rizvee was the smartest thing T2 et al. did over the ensuing 9 months. It has gotten much weirder than properly vetting their candidates list. At least Adam is "clean" from an ethics and morals standpoint, and aside from his choice of leader to run for he seems to be a fine person. I see Rizvee's posse is still butthurt, funny how some people define "dirty". |

Where did you get that story from Mariana? Rizvee has been quite public in claims that Trudeau "forced" him to resign Notwithstanding the obvious ethics issues that Rizvee was involved with previously over 800 people voted for Adam I'd hardly agree that he was "placed like a favourite" unless you happen to be related to Rizvee somehow (Mian Abubaqr would have been the Liberal candidate if Adam V lost the race Rizvee was out for a long time) |

With the very likely prospect of T2 getting back in by way of a coalition government (what a way to win), I will vote for what's best for me locally. |

If you are cleverly not saying you'll vote for Lisa, you are not making a mistake. Don't bother to vote with some supposed coalition fix in mind, just do what you were probably going to do any way as long as it's not the NDP. Even though Scheer has said he'll never accept a coalition deal with the PPC or the BlocHeads, I wouldn't bother to believe him. He is, after all, a politician and we know full well what they're like. These polls may be off anyway, there could be a wave of 11th hour voter apathy from youth voters to be seen. The same bunch of propeller heads that swept Tudeau into power in 2015, and their 2019 successors. Considering all of his scandals and with the burning issue of dope smoking rights already in the bag, they may take this one off, leaving the vote to those fully enfranchised in this country. Who knows. |

Adam locally was not a horrible choice despite lack of experience (want to see horrible? Check out Indira!) His bio is more than just ex-athlete and calling him that is a disservice It just bothers me that Lisa got beat down so badly when she clearly was a very strong local candidate with loads of experience (I mean cmon; look at the parties in general and just try to find a female politician that is anywhere near as successful as Lisa has been) |

I think Lisa Raitt would make a great leader of the party and have a good chance of beating T2 in the next election. Run a bi-election in another Conservative stronghold riding and parachute her in, then take it from there. |

I think Ford did more damage than Scheer. Scheer did great out west (even nationally more people voted PC than Liberal, just splits cost them seats) |

Trudeau dug his own grave and all Scheer had to do was shovel some dirt in the hole... he couldn't even do that. His whole campaign ran on the "Vote for me cuz you don't want the other guy" rhetoric... that didn't work out so well for Hillary Clinton, did it. He's awfully bold stating the other day that he "isn't going anywhere"... not really his call. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. |

I dont think he is going anywhere either Scheer had 230,000 more votes than Trudeau did That really is an amazing advertisement to change the system more than anything else ;p The whole first past post system is showing its cracks In addition to this, Scheer was the only real national candidate Trudeau did surprisingly well in the Maritimes, he won GTA area, and the Territories Otherwise the map is really lacking in red Scheer is going to head the strongest opposition in our countries history Look it up No opposition has ever held more seats than Conservatives currently do This is also the first time since 79 when Clark scraped through the vote has been as unbalanced as it currently is The day the Bloc or NDP loses confidence we will have another election (announced in what, maybe 2 years? Trudeau is smoking his own weed if he thinks he is staying for 4 years... the other parties have way to much to gain) |
