Post subject:  do we pay for a tree as part of closing costs

Hi,

I know that as part of the closing costs, we pay for things like grading and education levies when we purchase a house from Mattamy. But do we pay for a tree in front of our house as well?

Can anyone who had their house closing confirm if we pay for a tree?

Thanks much.

Yes, it is part of your closing costs. You pay for it no matter if you get a tree on your blvd or not.

is it possible to find out what kind of tree we get, or do we get to pick a certain type?

There are at least 3 different trees on my street. All planted on the same day.
