What I do is use one of the free mapping websites out there to generate a couple of maps. These maps generally let you zoom in and out from local roads to majour highways. From there you can just cut and past the maps into a document (e.g. MS word, PowerPoint), just print them off, or e-mail the url to your visitors.

I would have a couple of maps, each showing more detail roads the closer you get to HV.
