We're looking at buying a home from Tiffany Park Homes here in Milton and wondered if anyone has purchased from them or had any experience with them?

It's a little intimidating to potentially buy other than Mattamy but we have a really good opportunity to "move up" with this builder and just want to make sure noone has had any serious issues or problems with their quality or service.

My boss has a Tiffany Park home. They had a buidling inspector go over their 30 day and found a few key issues but they were taken care of very promptly and correctly.

I don't live in a Tiffany built home so I cannot speak from personal experience. However I live in a community with a lot of Tiffany homes in fact I back onto a Tiffany development and going by my neighbours no one has had any significant troubles. I find their houses quite unique inside.

Thank you to both of you for your comments :)

I find that their interior design selections are very limited, but this is not the end of the world. The layout is great and that is the most important thing. Everything else aesthetic can be dealt with later on our own.

We're going to go ahead so I'll keep my fingers crossed that they are a good builder!

I was just looking at the Tiffany Homes Milton website and a 36' 1700 sq. ft. was over $415,000. Sounds real expensive to me. :?

We've been in our Tiffany Park for nearly six years now with no major issues (not many minor ones either). Our neighbours have had issues with the way their shingles were installed, though.

I had one a couple years ago and was really happy with it. No real issues to mention actually. Seemed to be a pretty solid well put together house.

I serviced at least 50 of their towns in Bristol Park (just off of main) and probably another dozen of the detached just off of Thompson.

Not bad. Nothing major that I was aware of that wasn't out of the ordinary.

How is the price compare to other builders, is it too expensive?

I know that very well.

Reason I continued this thread...Tiffany Park is opening new phase soon 2012, so I am looking forward for Tiffany owners/new home wait list people to share some of their thoughts...

Thank you for using the Search function and not starting a new thread. Burrcold should be praising you, not making snide remarks.
