Void Applewood performing any warranty work on it? Or void the manufacturer guarantee on it? Anyone authorized to work on that manufacture of furnance should be able to submit the appropriate paperwork to the manufacturer to get re-embursed. Call them up and confirm.. or better yet, call up another service company and see if they will do it under warranty. |

BuildingHomes, I believe the way it works is your furnace warranty is with Applewood, not Carrier. They are using the usual scare tactics to make homeowners purchase A/C, purifyer and humidifier usints from them. Would this hold legally, I don't know, and frankly, I'm not too keen to be the first to test it. |

At the Home Show, all the AC vendors I talked to would also warrenty the furnace to sell the AC unit to me. Tim |
