I have a patient currently undergoing outpatient treatment for cancer. While she is exploring Canadian Cancer Society home support (homemaking, assisting with child care, etc.), it may not be sufficient for her.
I suggested that I could inquire with the Hawthorne Village community if there were any individuals interested in taking on the task. You would be paid for your time. It is a chance to earn some extra cash while helping out a family in their time of need.
Female is preferred; responsible young lady or mature older lady. Someone familiar with South Asian culture is also preferred, but not a requirement.
Period of need is October to December. Her chemo cycle is every 3 weeks during this time.
