Try calling Convertible Air, Applewood, etc for quotes. SEER stands for Seasonal energy efficiency ratio. The higher the SEER rating, the more efficient. SEER is calculated by the Btu of cooling output divided by total electricity in watt-hours (W·h) during the same period. SEER = BTU ÷ W·h The company that looks at your house will be able to tell you how many tonnes you need. Usually the bigger the house, the bigger tonnes. A rough gauge may be if you have a 3000 sqf home, you need 3 tonnes, a 1500 sqf home, maybe 1.5 tonnes. But that's only a very rough guide and will differ based on the house. So you really need an experienced professional to tell you how many tonnes you need for your townhouse. Also since you're in one of the new energy efficient houses, maybe there would be different factors since you use that high velocity venting or something? Applewood, convertible air, etc would know. You can do other searches and find many other vendors that people in Hawthorne Village used and were happy with. |
