I am using both and it works ok.

I had an issue a few weeks after my VOIP install but voxcom came and fixed it.

We use Fortress Alarms, and we have no issues with our Cogeco phone.

We have Voxcom that came with the house, and also have Cogeco digital phone service, and have not had one problem.

Had it for about a year now.

We're having trouble with that now. Just moved over to Cogeco digital phone last week. Voxcom unit has been in trouble mode ever since. I spoke with Voxcom who said they can't communicate with the unit anymore.

Honestly, we were a little dumb about the whole process. We were just desperate to get away from Bell (long story), that we didn't even think of our security system needing the phone line when we switched. Now Voxcom says they have to come out to reconnect the system - at a $35 service charge plus about $75/hr. labour.

Does anybody know if this is something that Cogeco can fix instead?
