Food Basics has medium sized pumpkins for $1.47. I bought 4 yesterday for our stairs. Not quite as big as the $2 pumpkins that Loblaws has sold in the past. Wait for tomorrow's paper, maybe the new Superstore will be doing that sale soon. Happy Carving! Lisa |

there are a few patches around town. We went to Pete's last weekend. North on Esquesing (sp?) just past #5 Sideroad. They also have farm animals for the kids. |

I believe I saw an employee today posting a sign for $1.75 pumpkins at A&P on Thompson. |

Perhaps some of the commodity trackers on the forum could help us all pinpoint the optimal time to buy our pumpkins, given historical price fluctuations overlaid against normal annual seasonality?
