Yup -- food is good - really good & when you get it its really hot--
the chicken balls actually have meat in them -- not some of the places where its mostly dough & no chicken--- (make sure to ask them not to put that red sauce on them I think its cherry -- if u dont like it or dont like it smothered -- ask them to put it on the side)

Anyways - you get your food fast-- they have tonnes of ppl working!!

Let me know what you think after you have tried it!

Tried the restaurant last night and it was fabulous!!

They even filled our request to make an authentic Chinese dish not on their menu. The free chicken wings with orders over $25 is a great bonus and the wings were really good too!

Happy ordering!!!

I too tried this place last week and found both the food and service to be excellent. Unfortunately it was Friday at 8pm so it took about 30mins, but thats not their fault....

Tried Empire Wok yesterday and was impressed with both the quality and quantity of their lunch specials. Will definitly go there again. I really like Gold City. As for Bing Ming, I was there last week and will not step foot in there again. Went once before for the lunch buffet, it was Ok but nothing to rave about. Was there for dinner last week andf the food was awful. The place is disgusting...especially the bathrooms.

Eh...we thought the food was OK. The batter on everything was far too thick (what ever happened to stir-frying rather than deep-frying?), and they used egg in a lot of dishes that have never had egg in it previously (from the 4 other places we've tried).

Personally I've noticed that the Canadian interpretation of Chinese food is seriously deep-fried/battered stuff...nothing like Chinese food in England, and according to the people from China I work with nothing like true Chinese food either.

Tried it the other night...thought it was okay, nothing special and also a bit pricey compared to other places. I'll stick with Lido.

It's "western style" Chinese food as my Chinese boss says. Real authentic Chinese food is totally different...for one thing you'll never see a beansprout in anything.

We haven't tried the empire wok yet, but probably will soon.

There are a number of decent places in town. As for the place on Bronte that was previously mentioned (oriental cuisine & donuts), we too had tried them and thought the food wasn't great. However, they now DO NOT sell donuts and focus more on cuisine. We go to the bakery every week and went in and asked what happened to the donuts. They said they wanted to be associated more with chinese cuisine rather than "donuts". Since that change, we have found the food has improved, and it doesn't taste like donuts anymore!
