Anyone have reccomendations for good furniture stores with good quality furniture? I've been to a few stores including the brick and Leons, Leons is not bad and the brick I dont like for various reasons.

It depends on what furniture you're looking for. After we were severely let down by the Brick right before we moved into our house, we went to La-Z-Boy for an emergency purchase of sofas. We were really happy with the quality, service, and they weren't that much more than the Brick.

Now that we're looking at furniture for the basement, we're not even looking at the Brick.

I will never ever buy from the Brick! I bought a bunk bed a couple of years back and it was delivered at our home lookin really dusty! it does not look like it's brand new. When we saw it at the store, it looks really nice but when it was delivered, looks like a really old stock. I spend my whole day cleaning it!!!!

I am very interested on where to purchase good quality furniture at a very reasonable price. I am more interested in where I can purchase multipurpose furnitures??? Any ideas??

we bought our "custom" couch and chair from Willow Tree in downtown Milton.

We got a great deal on the set we choose. If you choose from there select section. it's means you can only choose from 20 different fabrics.

you should check it out... I prefer to support our local economy before we i have to.

We have been looking everywhere for living room furniture. We finally decided on Lazy Boy. They are coming out to our house to help measure and choose what will match the room/house the best.
My friend purchased all of her stuff from Stoney Creek furniture and was very happy with it.

Lazy boy has leather. That's what we are getting. Stoney Creek as well and probably the Olde Hide House in Acton.

Does anyone know any good places to purchase Leather sofas? My husband and I were looking at Sears and they have some nice stuff but wanted to check out some other stores that sell leather furniture.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

You could check out the place on Main Street by Fabricland. Can't remember the name but they make sustom leather furniture. I saw some of their stuff on the United Way house tour last year....beautiful.

We had them do up a custom chair for us and the work was fantastic and very reasonable. If your looking for leather they would be very hard to beat from a quality / price point.

The place on Main Street is called Tannery Manor. They have great stuff, and they build it all on site. Reasonably priced as well.

I second (third, fourth) the Tannery Manor recommendation.

Excellent quality and great prices (direct from the manufacturer so no retail markup). We're really pleased with the loveseat we bought there a couple of years ago, and when we get the new house we'll be going back for a couple of couches and probably a reclining chair as well.

Check them out for sure.
