I would recommend KMS Vanlines. KMS Vanlines is an agent of Atlas Van Lines. They're located on Royal Windsor Drive in Mississauga. Call Ron Marlow - # is 905-822-4888. You can tell him that I recommended them. We used them twice last year and both times we were extremely pleased with their service. The crews were professional and efficient. We also kept our stuff in storage there for 4 months. I checked out other moving companies and their storage and we decided on KMS. We are using them again this year. |

Actually, I had a great experience with a company called El Cheapo movers. Now, before you all laugh hysterically (I did!!), they have VERY reasonable rates and they were more careful with my stuff than the Atlas people. They're also fully insured, etc. Check them out, if you're interested. http://www.elcheapo.ca/

Here's a real quote from one of my clients who moved out to Ajax from HV regarding Scannell movers: Quote: Oh, and I meant to tell you...we had a really great experience with Scannell moving.
They actually came in UNDER their quoted time/rate. The rates were great and the guys were super quick. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Our friends who moved used another company, paid A LOT more (more than 50% more!) than we did, AND the truck was too small! I recommend them to all my clients for good reason. Cliff |

Scannell's, KMS, Premiere...all great Movers! I work in the moving industry (within the Federal Gov't) and we use them all.......highly recommended. I have contacts at every office. PM if you'd like to seek more info, I'd be happy to help!

Scannel was terrible for me. They damaged our dining room set moving it out and moving it back in. I am still waiting for them to fix it and I took out insurance with them. they damaged the walls of the house we moved out of. The damaged my elliptical machine. I sent an email to the sales I dealt with and he never replied back to me. Hidden cost all over the place. The movers complained the whole time about how heavy things where. You would think you wouldn't be a mover if you didn't expect things to be heavy. They didn't cover their shoes when walking on my wood floors, they covered the stairs and still left salt stains. I just expected a lot more for the money I paid. |
