Key word is think! Drove up to Riddel Cresent this weekend just for fun not expecting anything, and they have dug more holes on Riddell, right where we believe our home will be! Can not seem to find any numbers marked which is making it difficult.
We are 331-5. We will be following up this week just to check out the progress, Fingers are crossed we will have a foundation this week. The bets are on between Chris and I, so far I owe him something off our wedding registry.
Very exciting!!

Hi Laura, I sent you an email. We were also trying to figure out if it is ours, and as far as we can tell you guys close a week before us and the rest around us are weeks to months afterwards, SOOOO we are going on ITS OUR HOLE haha
Chris is also convinced it will be an early closing but to not be disappointed I am staying pessimistic. I suppose we should hear about Mattamy U soon as well. I suppose we will have to get up there more often now to watch the progress.
Also just as a note we have been looking for furniture for our house from Stoney Creek to the Brick to everywhere else, The Rustic Pear on Main street is incredible, and will store everything and deliver for free when you are moved in. ALSO Upper Canada Furniture on Main just across from Loblaws. Paul is the owner he handmakes all furniture with his son out of antique wood. Incredibly beautiful work, will do anything from a picture or your own sketch, very reasonable. I was looking at a gorgeous corner hutch and it was $950. Great for custom furniture. I just wanted to give them both a great compliment as they have really helped us out and have such beatiful pieces.

Hi guys, Where are you on the cresent? I can't find you!!
It was very surprising to me actually. I went up without the camera just to show my mom the other houses that had gone up soo quickly and we turned down Riddell and were kind of shocked. Nice shock though!
like Laura said we are hoping for an early closing of just a few weeks, Chris is a high school teacher and it would make things easier if we were in before school went back.
I must admit I feel almost giddy and its only a hole!

OUR FOOTINGS ARE IN!!! and we can now identify our home as we are the only ones with a fireplace! SOOO now the big wait begins, we were walking all over the place and just had soo much fun. It was very exciting to see how much progress there was in just a week. If people are up there during the week please post any more work that has been done, my fingers are crossed for the foundation this week. I must say though Chris is the optimistic one for an early closing. WHO KNOWS.
Bonnie yours has really come along. We were laughing at how ridiculous it is not to include a cold cellar with every house, what a waste of time packing it full of dirt etc. ah well!

Went up today to check things out, yard is leveled and lumber was delivered and waiting to go up!
I went early morning, so who knows maybe the first few pieces went up this afternoon.
It would be nice to have some framing by next week.

Chris went up last night and was thrilled to see our back walls going up with the fireplace insulation and all that fun stuff.
He also spoke to the builder, stark circle is behind schedule but should be making it up. Riddell was a few days behind but is now right on time if not a bit early, as well they are working half crew due to vacations. Their 1 month timeline for roof, shingling etc should be cut down to 3 weeks once everyone comes back on Monday.
Thought I should give an update!
