I think that is exactly what it is. Either that or a really big Sumo Ring with plumbing. That extra layer I've put on over winter is finally going to come in handy. 8)

That is sweet news!! As a kid, I LOVED anything to do with water and it brought back memories a few weeks back to see little ones in swimsuits running through sprinklers, as soon as the temp passed about 17 degrees! Splash pads are the best invention, and our kids will be lucky to have one close by.

Hey, let's not let our splash-filled dreams be dashed. There is a huge area North of the new school yet to be completed. And after all, the other splashpad is right beside the Catholic school. Here's hoping!

Well we don't need anything from Mattamy for a good Sumo wrestling tourney. On to plan B then!

Sweet Mother of Pearl!!!!

I bought a new Speedo and the whole bit!

A childhood dream died tonight. I always KNEW I'd live within a block of a splashpad. I suppose some things just aren't meant to be.

I have family visting from out of town and staying tonight. How in the name of all that's sacred am I supposed to "entertain" them on the heals of this devastating news...

Thank god for the ferris wheel Mattamy is building at Ferguson and Clark....or are you gonna tell me THAT'S not happening either.

I hate this board.

We just drove by today.

Looks like there is a playground in the middle of the "pad". I think they will use the cement to hold in the tree chips.

Anyway, thats my thoughts.
