Welcome to the Website!

We can't tell you when to line up, because every release is probably different, but here is what happened with our house purchase.

However, my fiancee Dave and I were #1 in line and started the line up on the MONDAY at 8am BEFORE the Saturday release in June for the Detached Homes. And, within a couple of hours, there were more people in line with us that had planned to line up that day aswell. Before the end of the first day, we had 14 people in line, and by mid-end week, we had nearly 100 people on a list we all organized ourselves.

Though, for that release, most people were lining up for the bigger lots (46' and 56'), so, people who wanted a 36' lot, a semi or a town, didn't have as many people after those lots.

But, if you read over some of the topics on this site that Rick is wonderful enough to host for us all, you'll see everyone's views on why we lined up and why we all wanted a Mattamy home.

The line up experience was long, tiring, cold and difficult for everyone, but I don't think any of us would trade that experience for anything.

Alot of us got to know our future neighbors before we even move in, and now all of us can talk and keep in touch through this site!

This will be a wonderful place to live! The area seems to be "young" (ages 25-32), and many engaged couples that we met in line (though we're getting married next month, so we'll be married for over a year when our house is done). There is actually a "community" feel, which all of us are looking for to raise our families in! And, there are lots of children around and lots of people who want to start families too, so it will be a great community to live in.

Maybe we'll see you in the neighbourhood :)

Take care!

Laurie

I remember their last opening of semi's, it was on May 20th.
They only add 20 lots to sell (on the same crescent we bouth our 36' lot)
they sold in 2 hours and they had about 100 people lined up for them...

on another note, you can give your e-mail address at the sale center and they will send you an e-mail prior to the opening of the phase!
