Oh don't worry about lot #s just yet. I honestly don't think they are all marked because ours is not yet. The only way we know definitively where our lot is because lot 89 right beside us has a fire hydrant on it and that is up. My hubby thinks that the roads may go up in the next 3 to 4 weeks if not sooner though which is pretty cool and will our drive bys much cleaner and smoother

And what is this breaking news about our cabinet supplier? Please spill the beans!!!! We have no idea who it is and haven't heard anything.... Thanks!

I was there on Sunday looking at my pile of dirt. Most of the Wettlaufer lot numbers are marked. I know all the ones around me are there. While I was there I met the couple who purchased lot 176. Very nice couple from Misssissauga. Can't wait to meet more of our neighbors.
Regarding the cabinets, who confirmed that they have a supplier? PLEASE tell me it is Cortina. I really like their stuff!!
Anyone out there know who we can contact at Mattamy to confirm this??

I am sorry to here that. I am also on the south side of pringle and scheduled to recieve a walkout. (lot 132). I have not received a call from mattamy about this issue.

This makes me concerned. Mattamy seems to be changing alot of things lately. Only refunding $7000 might not be fair if to someone who didn't want the lookout like myself. How can they change things like the upgrade policy and this without any recourse. If I get this call I will be very upset too bu they will definetely get a piece of my mind.

So. Im quite disappointed. I recieved a call from the Mattamy sales center yesterday saying that they can no longer give us the Walkout and that they are refunding us 7000 (the difference between the walkout and lookout) and giving us a Lookout instead. This is all due to grading. Did anyone on the south side of pringle avenue that purchased the walkout recieve the same call?

Sorry to hear about this, just a suggestion - have you considered contacting your real estate lawyer and reviewing the contract with them regarding the grading change? I would think that your lawyer would be able to advise of the most appropriate course of action for you.

I think when purchasing a walkout/lookout you sign a piece of paper that states "if grade permits."
Just like when you purchase a home, you are not guaranteed an entrance to the home through the garage even though you paid for the upgrade.
This happened to me I was not happy.

I saw your lot neighbour! Here's how to find it ... Go along Pringle until you see that big hill of dirt and grass. If you face the hill, go towards the left hand side (east) of the hill. My place #141 (although numbered 140 for some strange reason!!) is right about where the hill starts on the left, so you are just 2 lots to the right (towards Tremaine). Check the wood sticks that stick out of the ground they are marked with "Lot ###" although some of them look like "lo" or "LT". It can't be easy to write "lot" over and over and over again!
