My husband and I purchased a Pinehurst, Elevation A.
Our closing date is August 2009 and we're on lot 44

In case anyone wanted to know, thet have started to do curbs in Vista!!
Looks like it's coming together!!

Ya I was there too today and was so excited to see all those streets with street signs on them
Also saw our stick with our lot # on it...lol...

By the way, has anyone out there been informed as to whether the brick & exterior pkgs have been put together yet for vista?

I had emailed our Mattamy rep regarding the timelines and she advised us that the exterior brick packages would be available next month and that appointments would be scheduled for then. As for interior - she mentioned early next year.

Thanks for the info Don&Carmen! Do you mind me asking who your CS rep is at Mattamy? I think ours has left the company and we don't currently have a replacement. I was hoping that we would have more information this year on pricing as well as suppliers but it's just as I suspected- no real info until early next year- just in time for me to give birth and we'll have a toddler AND a newborn to contend with while we try to pick colours for our new house. sigh. Oh well what can you do?

On another note we drove by the site today and it looks great! Our street- Nunn Court is no currently paved but it looks like they may do it soon and we still don't have lot numbers yet but we can pick out exactly where we will be. Awesome and so exciting!

Our rep (according to the info mailed to us in the summer) was Paola. However, when I got the response from Mattamy - it was from someone by the name of Amanda. So I'm actually not too sure if our original rep is still with Mattamy or if she was on vacation.

Our CS rep was Paola as well but I heard that she is gone which I guess is why Amanda answered. I don't know if they are going to send us an updated letter knowing that our rep has changed.

I don't think Mattamy will contact you until it is time for you to pick your outside colour package.
I think this is about 6 to 8 months before close. I guess this is soon for you. You can call the sales office to find out when you will be picking your exterior colours.
In the past, the exterior choices are picked at the sales office.

I did call today and they told me we get an introductory call after 1 month but we haven't received anything and it's been 3 months. So they gave me the information so that I could contact my customer care rep today. Along with letting me know we will be picking exteriors very soon and interiors won't be too far away in the new year.

Hey neighbor, don't feel bad. We haven't gotten anything from them up untill today, when we got a letter in the mail letting us know who our Customer care rep is.
I sent her an email as well to ask when the exterior pkgs will be ready, and also ask when the heck we are at least going to find out who our cabinet supplier is.

We also just today received a letter saying that our new Customer Care Rep is Amanda Ayles. No mention about what happened with Paola but I guess she has moved on to bigger and better things. We haven't had a meeting as yet or any phone calls from Mattamy but this isn't unexpected as our closing is not until February 2010.

Tried to drive out around the Vista site on Saturday but they have the Derry / Tremaine entrance all ripped up. Also tried Scott Blvd up to Pringle but that was blocked off. Has anyone else found a way in lately? Just curious....

Same here..got a letter today saying our Customer Care Rep is Amanda Ayles. Our closing is Nov 2009 so don't worry much about anything else (other than selling my existing home) at this point. I was also there around vista neighbourhood and noticed no access to it it from either side.
