Thanks busguy! it was a recent development we wanted to get married before the house is ready- but it will end up being before they break ground.

Has anyone been to check out the exterior selections? I know that they are in just not 100% finalized.

Hi everyone,

We received a call on Saturday to schedule our exterior brick selection. We finalized out selection just yesterday. Our specific model had 11 options - out of the CS series. We were also able to drive by to those houses with similar/same selections to see what the whole house would look like.
Seems like everything is moving along!

What was your purchase date?
Just curious to see what they are starting at

We purchased at the end of May and our closing is scheduled for the end of July 2009.

SDF - We received the call last Saturday to book the appointment and went in on Sunday. Just a note though - you can't change your mind...even if it's one day so when I was speaking with Andrea at Mattamy I had asked if it was possible to go in to take a look at all the options, then drive by to look at them then go back and confirm. That wasn't a problem, you just have to ask her in advanced.

It is quite exciting! Not looking forward to packing up our house though!

Richard and I recieved a message from the design center about an appointment. Unfortunatley, Mattamy called Richard and he listened to the message and deleted it prior to absorbing half of the information (typical!!!)!!... so, wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and knows if it is for our exterior or interior!?.... We purchased June 13, 08 and close June 23, 09.... Ive called the design center a couple times now, but am only getting a voicemail.... grr.

Andrea from the Sales Centre calls for exteriors and the Design Centre calls for the interiors. Let us know if it is the interior as I know they started exterior selections but the last time I spoke with the DC they didn't have a kitchen cabinet supplier picked out for our phase or the upgrade pricing.

Oh Lesley what a bummer! I have no idea since our closing is about 11 months away but I was really hoping we'd have a call for something by now. With the holidays now it may be difficult for you to get in touch with someone at Mattamy now. Did you get your book of upgrades yet? Our friends who bought a new Mattamy home in Cambridge just received their beautiful book of upgrades.... I hope you can figure it out soon.

unfortunately, you won't hear from Mattamy until the New Year. They told us if we didn't hear last week it would be pushed to January. Let us know what happens.

Hey. I got a call yesterday and booked our appointment for the basement. She said we wont be picking our exterior until late January, but we are one of the first closing dates, so we have to pick all our rough-in's and that. Our design advisor is Agapi, anyone know of her????.... lol.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you too, and everyone one else that reads this board.

Yes, Vista is now opened, (no access from Scott Blvd). They have paved all the streets placed stop signs around the neighborhood and paved a walkway around the pond. It is starting to feel like something more than just a pile of dirt. All the lots are clearly marked, you can even tell how deep your property is. I also saw a man walking his dog around the pond, put a little sparkle in my day. Take a drive by, it's a relaxing drive and very peaceful neighborhood.

Merry Christmas everyone! I also hope that everyone is having a wonderful holiday. We drove by the site this afternoon and had a great time seeing how it is all coming together. They don't have the lots marked off on our side (Savoline/Nunn Court) but we know exactly where we will be located. So exciting!!

We also got the opportunity to meet our backyard neighbours (lot 82) which was pretty cool- they look like a really nice couple. I was surprised that they already got the call to pick their brick colours even though they purchased after us- so i'm hoping that this means we will be getting the call very soon. I'm very confused at the order they are calling people in by and I hope our selection will not be limited by what people have chosen behind us but I guess we'll see sooner than later.
